23 March Martyrs Day Quotes in English – On 23rd March 2022, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev were hanged in Lahore jail for killing a British assistant police superintendent. The three boys were young revolutionaries who fought for the freedom of our country. They killed to police superintendent to avenge the death of national leader Lala Lajpat Rai. However, they were given a death sentence and hanged till death on 23rd March 1931 at 7.30 PM.
